revision control
I find it on more than one occasion that I end up moving some layouts around or removing the images and replacing them with new ones. The file name doesn't change, but the content on the image does. This is fine, however the comments made don't make sense any more. I was wondering if it would be possible to make revisions. So that you can see previous comments, but they would be marked as revision 1, etc. Unless there is a better way to control revisions.
Thanks so much!3 votes -

hide the comment box under each spread unless the client checks a box that they have a comment to make. Promote approvals not comments.
If we give them more reason to approve then to make comments they will approve more but if we are so inviting comment they will comment. If you give a box to write in some folks must write in it just to write in it.

Keep comments with the same spread, even if a spread is added or deleted.

have a column in the main dashboard that lets us know if the album has been submitted.
Much like the approved column, this would help to see which albums have been uploaded/sent in for production.

Send to Print with Graphistudio Integration!!
Integrate with Graphistudio!!!! Millions of togs use them and it would make things so much easier to click a go to print button. You could remove the whole ordering process and just link into their file upload servers for albums awaiting files for production.

Thank you for your suggestion! Another gal wrote me individually a couple of weeks ago, so I will direct her to this link so she can vote. In the meantime, we’ve found that there is more of an impact when clients reach out to those companies (such as Graphistudio) directly and make this suggestion to them as well. If you happen to have the direct contact information for someone there please send it to me at support@albumexposure.com and I can reach out as well.
Thanks!

Size / Resolution of displayed spreads
It would be awesome to have the option to display the album in a bigger size. I don't really understand why nobody has asked for this so far. The first thing my clients see is their wedding album in albumexposure. But since many pictures in the album are fairly small they can't even see the details of them. At least in full screen mode the resolution should be much better.

Custom email address for comments per album.
I use ShootQ which provides a specific email address for each "Shoot" that I'm tracking in ShootQ. I would like to be able to add an email address per Album in Albumexposure that will get sent the client comment emails. This way, I can more easily and simply track items in ShootQ. Right now all comments come to my main studio email address. It'd be much easier for me (and would save time) if I could have that automatically go to and be tracked in ShootQ without intervention on my part.

Put a change colour on the submit comments / approve album buttons
Really simple one - could the submit comments / approve my album button go a different colour when you hover your mouse over it so you know you're in that zone? Then the comments made would be cc'd to the client and us (if their email address is stored in AE) What do you reckon...?

customize all client notifications
Currently the only message that users can customize is the original "send link" message. It would be very helpful to be able to customize all of the messages--the view album reminders, etc.

Provide an Album Agreement Form
I go this email the other day and thought it was brilliant!
** Disclaimer - This is not my writing. I've copied this as I couldn't say it better myself and provided the link to give proper credit.
Everyone has a wedding contract, but how about an album agreement? Albums are be the most expensive single item a wedding and portrait studio can offer. Not only is it the most expensive product for the client, it is also the most expensive product for the studio.
Protect yourself with an album agreement just like you protect yourself with a wedding contract.…4 votes -
Add Canadian album suppliers
Shipping from US album suppliers can be cost prohibitive. It would really help if you could add a few Canadian album suppliers.

other paypal integration
Paypal integration would be great since we don't use Credit Cards all the time over here in the Netherlands.
Even better would be IDeal ... check www.mollie.nl for more info about their service and integrating it into your system.1 vote
