Download layouts as a one Full PDF, maybe even incorporate it with DropBox
Some clients are having troubles to view them at work (maybe due to firewall restrictions). If possible have an option to download the layouts as a PDF so that clients can preview it and then make comments when they get home.

Hi!
There’s another request similar to this one so I’m going to mark yours as closed: http://albumexposure.uservoice.com/forums/12626-albumexposure/suggestions/3286595-offer-send-to-print-with-redtree-album-as-well-as-
We are in talks with Loktah about having them be a Send to Print partner, so hopefully we can get that going for you soon :)
Thanks!

Add a way to offer client a limited time discount as incentive to up-sell and approve design early
We usually design which an album with more pages that the client has credit for. To encourage the client to buy the additional pages, and move the process along, we offer a discount on the additional pages if they approve the design in 15 days. It would be good to have a way of putting in the price of the additional pages, the % discount, and the number of days. It would also be good if AE can count down the days.

revision control
I find it on more than one occasion that I end up moving some layouts around or removing the images and replacing them with new ones. The file name doesn't change, but the content on the image does. This is fine, however the comments made don't make sense any more. I was wondering if it would be possible to make revisions. So that you can see previous comments, but they would be marked as revision 1, etc. Unless there is a better way to control revisions.
Thanks so much!3 votes -

hide the comment box under each spread unless the client checks a box that they have a comment to make. Promote approvals not comments.
If we give them more reason to approve then to make comments they will approve more but if we are so inviting comment they will comment. If you give a box to write in some folks must write in it just to write in it.

Keep comments with the same spread, even if a spread is added or deleted.

Add a way to check off at the comment page once we have done the changes.
Couple of ideas: Add a way to check off at the comment page once we have done the changes. Also integration with shootQ that we can receive the client comments as well as approval within ShootQ. It could also be cool if the ShootQ client area as well as the client page in the dashboard have a link to the client album at AE.

have a column in the main dashboard that lets us know if the album has been submitted.
Much like the approved column, this would help to see which albums have been uploaded/sent in for production.

Send to Print with Graphistudio Integration!!
Integrate with Graphistudio!!!! Millions of togs use them and it would make things so much easier to click a go to print button. You could remove the whole ordering process and just link into their file upload servers for albums awaiting files for production.

Thank you for your suggestion! Another gal wrote me individually a couple of weeks ago, so I will direct her to this link so she can vote. In the meantime, we’ve found that there is more of an impact when clients reach out to those companies (such as Graphistudio) directly and make this suggestion to them as well. If you happen to have the direct contact information for someone there please send it to me at support@albumexposure.com and I can reach out as well.
Thanks!

show album price to client for approval
The photographer could enter the price per page that they charge and the system would calculate the total cost of the album and display it to the client during the proofing process so that the client understands the price they're approving.
Also the client could choose to remove spreads which would grey them out and the price would adjust.
