  1. It would be great to have the ability to enter custom page names.

ex. Front Cover, Page 1 &2, Back Cover, etc

This would eliminate any confusion for clients viewing either the slideshow or book

I’m closing this issue as we’re not planning on allowing custom html on the presentation pages. We may add the ability for a custom background in the future, but if you want your own site navigation, the best thing to do would be to use frames on your site.

  3. Right now we have to delete all spreads to delete comments - it'd be really great if we could delete individual comments, too.

Hi Friends, quick update on this request.

We’ve mentioned this previously, but we’d like to be completely clear on the value of the album comments. Once submitted, comments are locked in, in order to keep the integrity of the comment history for the album. This way, the comment history is always properly maintained and provides you and your clients with a comment history you can count on and reference at any time to follow the logic of the revisions. It also provides peace of mind and some protection, in that one of the parties involved can’t come back after the process is complete and claim something wasn’t done as they had requested, since you can always reference the comment history.

As a result, we are going to close this particular feedback request, however, the ability to make comments with others internally, within your studio is a different scenario that we…

  4. It would be great if AE kept the old version so that the client could compare the old version and the version.

  5. I would like to see a pricing option for your service that is on a per album project basis. By the month or year is fine to keep those options, however I would like to see some pricing that would work as needed. I for example am not, currently doing enough projects to justify a full year subscription. So the choice would be nice.

For now, we have decided not to offer a payment per album option. Thanks for your feedback and we appreciate hearing all of your ideas.

    Cheers!

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately we didn’t do anything to change the preview sizes. I’ve reached out to you directly via our support email address, and hope to hear from you soon!

    Best,

  8. Whenever my clients post their suggestions for changes they tend to use this : symbol and it makes any text that appears after it drop off. Can this be fixed?

I tested this today and could not reproduce the issue, i used a : in my comments and i recieved the text after the colon on that spread and on the following spreads, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. Please send an email to support@albumexposure.com if you need further help with this. Thanks!

  9. Shooting only a handful of weddings annually makes it unfeasible for me to use your product could offer a pay per use option, or similiar, for those that have a small client base but would still love to use AE.

We’ve considered adding a pay per use and here’s why we’re not planning on it currently:

Even if you’re only shooting a handful of weddings per year, the time you save and the improved client experience should be well worth $150.

Also, if AE helps you sell a few additional spreads, it pays for itself very quickly.

  10. Hi All
It would be great to have a few "template" emails for outgoing email responses.

Currently when I send the link to a client for the first time AE sends the email setup in the email preferences. However if I have made changes to an album design and want to notify the client that it has been posted it would be nice to have a diff pre set up email response.
My responses are also different to wedding - portrait - corporate clients.

If we had the ability to set up a few generic email responses and the ability…

  11. It would be really helpful to have the option to show trimmed pages from Queensberry. I have clients who can't understand that sometimes an image cannot be full page because of the loss of image etc (which doesn't show in AE currently due to lack of trimming). It isn't always ideal to show clients trim lines as it feels like showing them the workings of your business so showing them the final product "post-trimming" would be ideal. Thank you!

If you’re using photojunction and would like to show trim lines, under preferences > albumexposure, check “show gutter lines”

    Hi Steven,

If you want to show only specific pages when embedding an album, you’ll need to upload those particular pages into a new album and share that. Sorry we can’t be of further help!

    Cheers,
    Ayca

  14. When spreads are added or deleted, comments are now not associated with the correct spread any longer. Would LOVE to see comments linked to specific file numbers instead of the current system.

As discussed via support conversation – The comments do link to the file names, but require file names to remain consistent. We have to have unique identifier in our database to link the comments to their corresponding spread. Currently, we use the file name. So, as long as the revised file or files are uploaded with the same ‘exact’ file name (no ‘v2’, ‘rev3’, etc), then the old file is replaced automatically and the comments stay intact for that spread. It is important not to delete a spread first and then upload a replacement, because if it’s deleted first, we can’t do the replacement and connect the dots for the comments.

  16. We link our slideshows up to a special page for our clients and having to give them another password is a step I would rather not have to do. I would love the option to have a password on the album or not.

  19. Please create a way to sort the albums on the Album admin page (right now there is no rhyme or reason how it sorts, neither alphabetically nor date created). At the very least, have them sort like you do in the drop down list that the client sees (alphabetically).

    Thanks

  20. add a second email template and allow selection of which template when clicking "send link." This way you could have text prepared for the initial email and follow up emails for revisions.
