provide a detailed sign off page
I am just dropping in a request for a more comprehensive album sign-off form. Currently when I receive a sign off I have to email out a link to a separate html form to get all the info I need such as terms of agreement, delivery address and so on which can take another week to get back. Can you integrate a sign off form which can meet these requirements and speed up our workflow?

Quick feature update :)
After input from several users and consultation with the attorneys (yes, we had to include them on this one), we’ve created and released an enhanced client approval feature! The new feature provides more comprehensive sign-off language and captures a digital signature, making it even more clear to your clients the importance of the design approval step. Also, as requested, it’s printable for your client file if desired and always accessible in your account if needed.
You can learn more about the new feature by selecting the announcement icon at the top right of the page in your AE account.
One quick note regarding the idea of collecting important album information for production at this step, which was mentioned in this feedback thread but unfortunately is quite variable based on individual workflows. We’re looking at that more specifically as it’s own feature and were advised…

add a way for the photographer to leave comments on spreads
so we can make notes to them in regards to their comments. They would see these notes beside/below their comments in the spreads when they login.

Display page numbers rather than spread numbers
My clients are confused enough already with the whole page/spread thing because they view spreads, but we charge by the page (as most photographers do).
It would save a lot of confusion for the numbers below to display Pages 1&2 , Pages 3&4 (something to that extent) because just seeing the current display (1/25) it's so hard to remember there are 50 pages rather than 25. Big difference!73 votesWe’re happy to announce we launched this change today. Thanks for all your feedback!

Support vertical albums
Add a feature to show vertical albums that have the spine going horizontally and flip up.
63 votesHi All!
We’ve completed this request and released vertical album support with an up/down page flip animation for albums with a horizontal spine. It can be selected as an option on the album’s Settings page. Hope you enjoy the new option for those unique panoramic and calendar style albums. Thank you!

Allow versioning of albums
For clients who have x number of reviews for an album it would be great to show them what each version they had looked like as opposed to it being an open flow of changes.
It would be nice to be able to show a client the original version and the final so that they can see the difference.
It would also be helpful in the case that a client has deleted pages on say v1 and at the end of the editing process they want to add them back.45 votesHi all! The new versioning feature is out of beta and has been released. We think you’re going to really like it. Also, appreciate the help several of you provided with user testing the beta. Have a fantastic day. Thank you!

why is the cover considered a spread? It doesn't match up with my program (photojunction)
why is the cover considered a spread? It doesn't match up with my program (photojunction) so when I am trying to figure out which spread is being changed, I have to refer to two layouts. Also, the numbers that you assign to each image don't transfer back to photojunction.
44 votesYou can now mark spreads as being cover images so that they’re not counted in the page numbers. Details here: http://blog.albumexposure.com/2013/10/16/indication-of-covers-and-a-more-secure-albumexposure/
Cheers!

improve handling cover images
allow uploading of half-spread cover images for the front or back of albums and/or allow uploading of cover images that area different size than the rest of the spreads
32 votesThough we haven’t announced it just yet, you can now upload single pages to AE and then convert them to spreads. You can use this function to upload single side cover images.

Remove center gradient in book view
Would love the option to remove gray gradient in center of book view. It's influencing some of the colors of images closest to the gutter. Maybe ability to just add dash or solid line to represent the center.

Unique logos for each album
I work with multiple photographers to create album designs for their clients. The end client will be viewing the album (and submitting changes); I’d like to brand the album for each photographer rather than branding for my design studio.

allow for book view embedding
book view embedded directly on the website gives the client more control of the viewing experience, and is more realistic in regards to the investment they are considering.
23 votesNot sure how this got left open, but this has been a feature for a LONG time :). Thanks all.

Add email CC field in new email preferences.
Great new email system! It would be nice to add a CC/BCC field in the preferences so that the photographer can also receive a copy of the original email that is sent to the client.
23 votesHey guys! We’ve finally added a cc field so you can send have your initial email sent to more than one person… Hooray!!!

A way to make flipping through pages simulate stiff paper.
It will be a nice touch to be able to select the behavior of the animated page flipping: betwen the current (soft page) and an option for stiff pages.

2 levels of
Add a second level of comment interaction. One level between "designer and photographer", the second between "photographer and client". The designer doesn't really want to be receiving client comments direct and without the photographers approval.
Thanks for Queensberry and Photojunction
16 votesThis has been a feature for several years now, between users of our Design Studio edition and the photographers they serve with design services.

Oops…so sorry we forgot to update this in uservoice! This was completed back in September and can be read about here – https://albumexposure.com/announcements/9. Now it’s quick and easy to reset an approval when it’s been accidentally approved. Appreciate you all, hope you’re having a great holiday season!

Add way to reset "viewed" flag for album
I went in through the client's login and now the "viewed" flag is set to green. My mistake for looking at the album that way... but now I have no way to reset that.
Also, when the album is changed in some way (edits, new uploads, etc.) it may make sense to automatically reset the album to not-viewed - so that client viewing of these edits can be monitored/tracked.
12 votesWith the increase in multiple status indicators and the full Activity History, this has been solved! Thank you.
